Ukraine Foundation is led by its board of directors, executive committee and advisory council. The board of directors provides strategic direction and oversight. The advisory council provides strategic advice on matters concerning the foundation and the management committee is responsible for everyday operations of the organisation.
ZHENIA SHEVCHENKO - Founder & Chairwoman
Ms Shevchenko is a committed team player, a seasoned peoples’ management executive and a visionary organisational management leader. She has extensive experience of working in the financial, banking and capital markets industry providing financial audit, financial consulting, digital transformation, EU trade regulation advisory, transactional and structured finance related consulting services to a wide variety of leading global financial, business and government sector clients.
She has led and advised both private and public sector clients which has included Bank of England, European Central Bank, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Santander Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland as well as the governments of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.
Furthermore, Ms Shevchenko is the also the founder of British Digital Chamber of Commerce, International Business Tribune and Ukrainian Aviation Professionals Association. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business & Finance, a master’s degree in International Economics, a second master’s degree in IT Management and received her ACA qualification from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) while working for global consulting giant PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in London.
Dmitry Shevchenko - Founder & Director
Dmitry Shevchenko is a patriotic pilot and young leader, who is on extremely passionate about serving his people and country. Prior to Ukraine Foundation, he established Ukrainian Aviation Professionals Association (UAPA) with the vision to improve the working environment for pilots and aviation workers in Ukraine, protect their rights and merits at home and abroad, and give them the high level skills and training the aviation workers need to get good jobs and grow in their careers anywhere in the world.
He has now put his energy behind Ukraine Foundation to help promote Ukraine, its heritage and the opportunities available in the country across the world.
Dmitry graduated from the Flight Academy of National University of Ukraine, and received his Master’s Degree in Flight Operation of Aircraft. He has worked as co-pilot of Small Planet Airlines, a Latvian company and has previously worked for different airlines in countries such as Iraq, Iran, Latvia, Cambodia, China and Ukraine.
