KYIV: Ukraine beat United States in the opening game of the Under-20 World Cup on Friday at Bielsko Biala, Poland.
Denys Popov scored on a header off a corner kick in the 51st minute, and Ukraine beat the United States 2-1.
Team Ukraine players were physically and psychologically organised in the ground, and played very technically to defeat their rivals.
Serhii Buletsa put Ukraine ahead in the 26th minute.
